It’s getting to be that time of year when you need to gather up your fallen leaves and have them taken away. This can either be some back-breaking labor, or yet another expense.
Have you ever considered just leaving them? Allowing the leaves to decompose helps to enrich the soil, which is how nutrients are naturally recycled in a forest.
If you would like to speed up the process, you could always go over them with a mulching lawn mower.
