Although we usually have a general idea about when most wildlife in our area are nesting, we know it’s never safe to assume.

If we are ever working in a tree with a nest in it we will take the time to cautiously approach it and look for any signs of use. If there are any, then we will avoid doing any work that will disturb the animals. It can wait until the nest is finished being used.

In this photo, Pat found a nest that was occupied by some baby squirrels.
